Towards the end of my first week, I started having pains at my lower back.
I knew I wasn’t supposed to go out or have skin contact with strangers, but it got so unbearable that I couldn’t sleep the entire night. So I went to a masseuse the next morning.
She gave me a damn good massage. But sadly, the pain remained.
Once again, I learned that this isn’t the usual muscle pain. This isn’t normal. It was different. The cause was much deeper in. I took pain killers, but it did little for me.
My body was hurting at places I didn’t know could hurt.
Is chemo actually treating me or killing me?
I developed rashes all over my neck and chest area from the hot flashes.
Oh yes, the hot flashes. The hot flashes drove me up the wall! And I’m still tormented by it till this day, also a side effect from my Tamoxifen pills.
My mouth even got so dry that I had ulcers.
WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON?
I began to regret getting chemo. So. Much.
Everybody keeps telling me that everything will get better. I know! But when?
